Earth

Earth is the largest city in The Heartland. It is also the city with the greatest variety of races living within it. Only 30% of the population are human, with the rest being split roughly equally among all the other races.

Earth is famous within The Heartland for not officially being part of any of the four states, and famous in the rest of the world for having its own (inconvenient) system of time. Many people not familiar with The Heartland not having a capital assume that Earth is the capital, a preconception which annoys Earthians, and has been the cause of more than one foreign army invading them, under the misconception that they have now taken over the entire human homeland.
