A year is a period of time consisting of 500 days. It is split up into four seasons, or ten months. Each year begins and ends with a holiday celebrating the god Colk.

A list of years up until the current year can be found, however since scrolls were not invented until roughly The Year of the Auk, and it took several years for them to be in common usage, a full list of the names of the years before then is not available.
