The trick to being any good at writing is to write a lot. The quote is “Everyone has 1000 bad drawings inside of them. Once they’re out, you can start on the good ones.” Similarly, every writer has 100 000 000 bad words inside of them, and once they’re gone, your writing might look halfway decent.
If you want to be a script-writer, write scripts. (if nothing else, it’ll teach you the format.) I spent most of 2006 writing scripts; a handful of TV shows, a play or two, but mostly short films. Most of them were either never completed or quite dreadful, but I like these ones.
All scripts are in RTF format. (right-click to download)
Never been shot:
I never got around to filming these, either due to time or budgetary constraints. Want to film one? Email me, I’ll more than likely say yes.
Filmed:
These have all been filmed; most of them are online, but if you want to shoot them yourself, drop me a line and I’m sure we can work something out.
